Right...not often I come callin for help.. In M$ Word 2003, and on the occasion DWMX2004...when I right click with my wireless mouse...the program closes out...for no reason.... I have a wireless mouse & keyboard...they've done strange things ever since I installed them, even with the propa drivers installed.... any ideas....? I went wireless cos I was sick of the tails!

This happened to me last week. Not with Word but with some other programs... I had to completely reinstall the mouse drivers... Are you using the USB plug-in or the PS2 adapter? I had a lot of problems with my wireless optical Blue mouse when I had it plugged into USB...

Daft bit - It's worse with the drivers installed [&:] Batteries are freshly charged...so it ain't them....just the right hand button... The two "function" buttons are disabled...

Very little actually...lol I'm running on an untouched explorer.exe, untouched ntoskrnl.exe, untouched shell32.dll - I reverted back to the originals just tao make sure it wasn't me messing with XP..and it only got worse! [:@] Cos it now does it in Windoze Explorer The only changes to the OS are done by Style XP right now, only thing I've done is remove a few things from the start up list. It's literally a clean XP install with my usual tools...PSP, PSCS, DW, FP, Office I have a copy of OpenOffice somewhere...may just install that...

Keyboard has started acting up too...hmm I think the easy solution is buy a new set and pay a bit more than 20 quid this time...lol

you could borrow someone's similar mouse for 5 mins and see if it seems to be your mouse or your setup that's wonky?!

It's defo the hardware... I installed this mouse and keyboard on another machine...and they do exactly the same thing...and this particular set is no longer supported, or ditributed...grrr...oh well...I have my eye on an M$ one..and a Logitech one....
