Editing site on Mac - can't see shared borders? - 3/16/2001 15:12:00
I created a web site using FP2000, and am supposed to hand it off to someone else to maintain content. This other person uses a Mac and got FP 1.0 for Mac (at least that's what the box says, the application itself says it's version 2.0.2.1406).I've been trying to train this individual to update the FP web, and we quickly discovered that there are a lot of features missing in the Mac version. For now, the one I'm most concerned with is his inability to see the shared borders I set up for the site. Not only can he not see them, but he can't include them in new pages he creates. So that's my question: is there any way to view/edit/include shared borders with FP for Macs? Thank you in advance for your help!

My only suggestion would be to go into the HTML view and cut and paste the shared border or include page code where it needs to be. He ought to be able to grab this from an existing page. I would test it first, of course, to make sure that the simple task of opening in FP1.0 on the MAC doesn't mess things up in the first place.I have a MAC, but I use Dreamweaver on it. Sorry. ------------------ <--Your information went data way -->
