ASP (I think!) - 3/18/2001 20:11:00
Hi

I'm in process of putting together a site for a friend who's promoting his own band.

On the home page will be 3 news links, linking to a separate page. Once the site goes live, I don't want to have to update their news bullitens - I want them to be able to do it.

Is there a way I can put together an online form they can access which somehow updates their various news links, allowing me to restrict the number of characters used for the headline link used on the home page?

I was under the impression this is what ASP can be used for. Am I right and is it fairly straight forward???

Thanks!

Spooky

It can be used, but I wont say "easy"

Eg, Youll need a small database, youll need to display the result, youll need to secure the page that is used to update / edit the info.

Ive got a bit of "database" onfo in the outfront section at www.outfront.net/spooky/ if you need the crash course?
