Get the form name - 12/29/2004 13:42:38
Does anyone know how to pass the form name in a querystring?

I want to use the same code to run a search of the database from 3 different pages, but to change the search parameters slightly depending upon which page the form was sent from.

For example, you are in the News section, and so you run a search from there. Click submit and it takes you to the Search Results page, and because you came from the News section it only brings back items indexed as news.

My idea was to have part of the querystring tell me which page they are from - if I can get the form name that would be easiest, otherwise I'll take a hidden field with the page name in it.

Just add an extra value to your querystring.

eg:
searchpage.asp?value1=this&value2=this&page=news
