Mike54 Posts: 4782 Joined: 3/26/2001 From: Way Up Over Status: offline	Could it be the video card going? - 12/29/2004 17:50:30 Twice in the last 3 or 4 days my screen has just gone black while I've been on the computer. I have to hard boot and when the machine comes back up everything works fine. Can't think of what else it may be, any ideas? _____________________________ Who was the first guy that looked at a cow and said, "I think that I'll drink whatever comes out of those things when I squeeze them"? suburbankid2005 Posts: 4 Joined: 1/24/2005 Status: offline	RE: Could it be the video card going? - 1/25/2005 19:07:18 My computer screen looks like it expands and then contracts. After this, it will suddenly shut off. The green power light on the monitor will turn to the blinking yellow light. After I turn the screen off and then back on, the screen will repeat this same thing after I go to a different program or switch websites. Can someone PLEASE tell me what is up with this problem. They really help for those who over clock also. Coming from a guy who burnt out several parts on a bad overclocking see how far I can push it for how long push. Guess I live and learn .
