Theme Problem - 3/19/2001 23:22:00
I am using a theme on a site that used to work great. All of the sudden when I publish the site the navigation bar disappears. In FrontPage preview modes, the only link that shows a title it the current page and the others just have the theme graphic and no text. In normal mode the only one that even shows up is the current page and the rest show up as broken graphic links. On some pages I am using two navigation bars and neither show up after publishing. I am not sure exactly how it should show in the HTML but it appears to be there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Two possible solutions:

1) Publish again, but this time click "Options" and check "Publish all pages, overwriting..."

2) Open your live site. You can do that the same way you open your local site. Just type in http://www.swedesuccess.com. Then do Tools > Recalculate hyperlinks.

One other possiblity that probably isn't it could be that you're using a FP98 theme and publishing with FP 2000. If that is the case, just open the theme in FP2000 > modify > save as > type a new name > OK. Then publish and all will be well.

Thomas,

Thanks for your help. I tried your suggestions but nothing. I don't know why all of the sudden there is a problem, but I decided to recreate the navigation bars myself. Thanks again.

Mark

Check the navigation properties. Right click and choose navigation properties.
It sounds like maybe you have some how changed the links you want to have.
