i've been working on a site:

http://www.calvarychapelsouthampton.co.uk/

for ages it was ranked in top 10 under searches in google for "church southampton" - now it has disappeared completely.

I know SEO is a fine art - but can some give me some quick pointers as to where i'm going wrong?

You don't have a lot of indexable content. Did you make recent changes?

i made changes a few weeks ago.

by "indexable content" you mean .............. ?

The site does not have much content that can be read by search engines. That may or may not be your problem. If it were my site I would wait a few weeks before doing anything dramatic.... or, depending on what the recent changes were, I may revert back to the old site.
