I have installed CandyPress on at least 50 websites. I made some mods for it for SEO and it works like a charm. I used it at lingerieatlarge.com, babybejeweled.com, babysunprotection.com, savvymedias.com/store among others. The ONLY caveats that I see : - Can't control inventory by options (e.g., shirt colors)
- If not using AIM (advanced integration) for Authorizenet, placing orders can be confusing
- Have to buy a mod to export to accounting software
On the upswing, people have made affordable mods for everything from World Ship (UPS) to Froogle feeds as well as store templates. Most of them are free, the code is easily modified and the support forums (user to user and developer to user) are great.
