How to block vicious sites? - 1/2/2005 22:07:56
I often unconsciously entered some dangerous sites, so how can I block those vicious sites?
Many thanks!

Depends what sort of sites you mean.
Generally running a firewall and antivirus will cover most possibilities (and dont use IE!!)
If you mean you need some sort of 'Net Nanny' monitoring system to provide safe web surfing, then some one else may have an idea or 2

Depends on how net savvy you are.

Net Nanny is good for blocking stuff but can go overboard if you don't get the settings right.

If you are a complete newb and really don't have a clue, then as much as it pains me, I have to say go with AOL. They take care of it all for you.
