Urgent help needed - MS Outlook - 3/21/2001 23:52:00
I know this is a Frontpage forum, but I don't know where else to post this question.I have MS Outlook and want to send a single email to a large number of people, but have it set up so that they think they are the only recepient. This is for a valid business purpose and not to create spam. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Use the Bcc field.....??From Outlook help: "Provides a space for you to type the names of people who should receive the message while their names are hidden from other recipients of the message." Hope this helps. Rian

But when you do a distribution list, there is no BCC option for members.

If you're looking to send an email to a bunch of people and have each email individually addressed (rather than lump them into the bcc field), I think there is a "merge mail" feature in Outlook. I haven't used it, but as I recall you start in MS Word and merge print to Outlook.------------------ Jim Sims jsims@policycom.com

Download a copy of Pegasus Mail and use it for any mass mailings. The distribution list feature makes it easy and is very customizable. It also handles multiple identities, addresses, mail merges, etc. It's free. ------------------ ++++++++++++++++++ ® Hobby Time_ www.places2ride.com Home Page_ www.maduko.com Day Gig_ www.pei.org
