Thanks for that Dan. Gee. My first day at the forum and I am involved. Here we go then. Who are you trying to reach and what is your target market. Is it industrial managers or does it include sales teams, shop staff etc. as well. Not clear. Always keep your message short and punchy. Use simple words so that your potential clients are not embarrassed by how clever you are. You have to be on their level of understanding and they may not be as bright as you. You have to try and relate through words that you are an approachable, professional company that will do a good job for them. Your site has too many words and big ones as well. It confuses the story you are telling. Use lists rather that paragraphs. They are easier for the busy reader to scan through. Try to make your site very easy to navigate. Too many buttons and "click here's" confuse busy people. When they get lost they will return to the search engine. Guide/lead them through. Give them an ability to act on impulse and put your telephone number on each page. Ask yourself. Are you going to get a sale directly off your page? I assume from the product that you will not. Therefore treat the site as a lead getter. If you look at it this way you will not need to give prices or the paragraphs with it (seems complex). You can tell them at another time when contact has been established. A purchaser rarely purchases on price alone. If he trusts you and you have convinced them that you are the one to do business with, then price is less important. Just say that you are very competitive on prices. Use bold lettering - easier to read at a pace. Is background plain enough to keep the message clear. Navigation buttons seem small. Hyperlink on powerpoint insert are tiny - can hardly read them. Pages do not adjust. Think % rather than pixel width may be better but I will leave that to the more experienced designers. I hope this has been helpful. If not bin it. If you want more help or comment - just give me a shout.
