FP extensions not recognising site - 1/10/2005 17:44:58
Hi,
I recently moved a site to a new host, the problem is the extensions are not working even though the server says they're fine, the FP admin page says they're fine. The hosts' tech boys says the only thing to do was to delete the domain and start again. Guess what?? No change.
Recalculting Hyperlinks takes seconds even though the site is over 35mb's. The report says there are 0 pages linked to dynamic templates even though most of them are.
The host tech boys are baffled, I'm baffled.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Philip

You are calling or linking to certain things wrong.

Viewing your source code, a lot of files show that you are trying to get file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Philip/My%20Documents/My%20Webs/CoY_backup/Nav/Banner2_1x2.jpg

But how can you get that file from another computer? It has to be changed to CoY_backup/Nav/Banner2_1x2.jpg

Btw, FPE are installed on your domain, and "should" be working. What type of errors are you getting when you say there is a problem with it not recognising the site?

The site was reloaded only last night in a hurry, so I need to go over it and clean it up. I checked the hyperlinks report though and could not find any faulty links pointing to my computer!! Which page did you find that link?
Anyway, the host tech boys must have done something because all of a sudden the forms are working again, I just just need to sort out the crappy hyperlinks.
Many thanks for your help.
Philip
