password protect pages w/o login and then some - 3/28/2001 20:47:00
using FP2000 & Access 2000 DB

I have an item listed with many descriptions generated with DRW. All is fine

At the bottom of this page I have a form that I would like to have
1)list some of the info posted above it.
2)ask for a UserID & password, check it against the DB and if the member is there proceed to a confirmation page with all of the info of the item listed above that would be stored in hidden fields in the form. I have a general idea how this works and have been successful at various angles except for when I try to do all of it at the same time. I beleieve I have past the normal logic of this and am now confused. Anybody want to help me get back on the right path so I could finish this project. All help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

The sql query on page 2 would need to have a WHERE statement that also includes the users name (and password), posted from the form.
Assuming that the records listed are either joined, or contain a reference to the users name?
