Rian -> CSS Question.... (4/1/2001 22:50:00)

Is this possible with CSS?

I can change the color of a <textarea> form field using { background-color }....no sweat!

Is there a CSS way of changing the background color of a checkbox or radio button?

I have tried {background-color} "inline" and as a "class" with no luck.....

Thanks!
Rian

Alas.....could not find ANY examples in any of the CSS literature.....

Guess it's not possible.

You can do it, but it changes the surrounding background, not the actual circle or box. So I guess, no you can't do it.

How was that for a mixed up answer

Nice try Nancy!

Like you said..... this is what I found....

quote:
Under CSS, every page element resides within a block whose properties can be manipulated. The "background" attribute sets the background color of the block, while the "color" attribute sets the foreground color used in the element's lettering.

We don't really need to set the "color" property, since this displays in black by default.
