Hmmm, well... Maradona has left a Cuban mental health clinic and entered a health spa to control his ballooning weight. Becks and Posh are playing happy families, while a few um "ladies" have faded into obscurity following sensational headlines that they "distracted" him for a while.

What else is there to say?? :) :)

Oh, and very sorry for the tangent your thread turned into - at least you had your question thoroughly answered first :)

And IF I ever followed any code of football, it would be soccer. But the genteel pursuit of dancing whenever possible in my leisure hours, naturally precludes any such possibility.

See pure entertainment on all levels. Drugs and sex included in the fun of footy.

Oh Kitka, due to your comments we are on the move again to dancing now. My wife is threatening to get me lessons as her toes can't take any more pain. You keep on the dancing as it is becoming very popular in the UK again with the masses.

Don't worry about going off at a tangent. The whole thread has been informative for me on the software issue and thoroughly entertaining on the other issues covered. I have also communicated with quite a few people like you which is important to get me confident enough to raise matters and not feel embarrassed when raising issues with knowledgeable people in the web design field.

I hope everyone who has contributed and all the other readers have enjoyed the light-hearted moments.

Ian

Yeah. That's the one. Seen many a great game that ends nil nil because you never know until the end that it is going to end that way.

To interrupt and get back to HTML... :)

DDC Publishing has a 3 book series that seems to cover it all rather painlessly.

HTML 4.0 Fundamentals, HTML 4.0 Intermediate, and HTML 4.0 Advanced.

They are spiral bound softcover and, as I recall, not too pricey.

I picked mine up at a college bookstore and at a minimum they are great references for the times you are scratching your head trying to remember how to do something.

I strongly agree that you should know enough code to be able to look for a problem.
(or to be able to insert a snippet of javascript and get it to show up in the correct spot.)

Tom.

Thanks Tom.

I appreciate your input. Sorry about going "off thread". It's these other people you see. I am just the poor guy who asked a simple question. Good fun though.

Bye

Ian
