When it comes to Building the pages, I tend to use a mix of Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and TopStyle. Yes, it may seem overkill for the job, but it's my style of doing things. The best advice has already been given: quote:
whichever you are most comfortable with And as Mr D has said, leave FLASH and Freehand alone for now. FLASH is self explanatory, and Freehand is for Print work (leaflets, flyers, brochures etc) Fireworks is a good program, and works fine with both FP and DW (speaking from experience), Fireworks has a lot of built in features that PSP and PS don't have. Photoshop is by far the best for still images, Paint Shop Pro is on par with Photoshop, just a hell of a lot cheaper, and Fireworks is great for GIFs, Animated GIFs, it's vector based program, and allows for hotspot animation, you can create Nav Bars with it.... Use what you have, and what you find easiest
