Resolution question - 4/3/2001 23:42:00
What res do I need to create my site in for users with larger and smaller resolutions to see the page as I created it? I create in 8x6, but a friend of mine uses a larger res and when he views the page, its all jumbled up! How do I fix this problemCooley

RE: Resolution question - 4/3/2001 13:03:00
The only complete solution is to create the page and view in multiple browsers and at multiple resolutions. 800x600 is probably the best target audience, but if only 800x600 view it correctly it is not a good design. One method of making the layout look pretty much the same in different browsers and resolutions is to use tables to format your pages. In most cases, using relative percentages gives better elasticity and using pixel width tables gives a concrete look to elements.
