Guest	Hover button problems - 4/4/2001 20:05:00 Why do my hover buttons occasionally work, but most times present an unusable grey spot on my otherwise great looking page?!?!? I can refresh over an over and every once in a while one may work, and every so often others will, too. Same problem in the FP preview, too, so this really is crazy - cant be on the server! Wish I could take a Java pill and know all this stuff! TIA Dan

That's the unfortunate answer. They are quite simply a disaster area, unpredictable, ubreliable and known to crash browsers from time to time. Just search this forum for more posts on the subject.

Hopefully they will not be included in the next version of FP, at least not in their current condition.

An alternative is to create a javascript for your mouseovers. You can use this generator to create the code for you: http://www.builder.com/Programming/Kahn/012898/
