Access & FoxPro integration? - 1/26/2005 18:02:53
I have a site with a CandyPress shopping cart, using Access and accounting software using a FoxPro database.

Knowing nothing, how difficult would it be to hook the two together so that I can import/export data? I have over 4,000 invoices/customers to enter into the software because my harddrive crashed and some of the files were corrupted on my backup.

I was going to put it as a project on Guru, too, but I have limited funds.

If you have access to the host (or use it on your testing platform), you should be able build a User DSN with the FoxPro driver(s) and query the DB a variety of ways. If the DSN is built, you should be able to import the tables directly using the "Get External Data:Import" and "Files of Type: ODBC Databases".

That any help at all?
