wsh -> WinInet 12111 error message? (1/28/2005 18:52:56)

I have been using FP 2000 for several years now and in the main , have been problem free.Recently however, each time I try to edit and upload my web pages I receive the following message

WinInet has encountered and error - code 12111

The pages are not uploaded. If however I attempt to upload complete web sites, the upload is complete but I still get the error message right at the very end of the upload.As far as I'm aware nothing has changed on my computer.

Any ideas pleeeeeeeese?

WSH & Keith,,

Since the error appears to be FTP related, try publishing instead.

While FrontPage does have FTP capability, the program was designed with "Publish Site" as the primary method of controlling the integrity of files as they move from the local drive to the host server.

[:)] I found a solution to my problems may help you and others
don't upload files that have an underscore in the file name i.e if a folder has a name such as _private rename the folder private., similarly if a folder has an underscore or number in the name this may not be accepted by the server.
Worked for me hope this helps
Keith
