aspnet_client directory on server - 1/31/2005 17:54:08
Hi there,
Whenever i connect to the host i see this directory with multiple sub directorys with the last one with files in it. (I understand they are part of the asp.net solution on the server)
If I then try and publish from this site to the local hard drive (for backup purposes) frontpage always asks if i want to copy files in this directory as they have been changed on server and locally.
Does anyone know a way to stop this
Thanks in advance.

John

You should be able to set the publish status of those files. If you can, within FP, set the publish status to "Do Not Publish" that should stop the query of this.

A similar question has been asked in Advanced Web Development a while back. It was asked by _gail, if you search for it, it should give a more detailed answer ;)

HTH

Dan
