I have PSP loaded and Photoshop on CD if necessary.

I can't find a link to show what I mean, but I will try to describe it better. For example, on a travel brochure, there may be a background image of the destination, and the text is set on a colored panel which, due to its transcluscency (!) shows the image through. A little like looking thru' a piece of opaque colored plastic. I guess it has something to do with layers. (in reply to rdouglass)
