Securing Database/Scripts - 4/9/2001 20:55:00
Whats the preferred method for securing ASP scripts and MS Access Database ? We obviously don't want people to download our site and get our database. We also want to use a DSN-less connection and our script(s) will contain a userid and password.

Thanks.

Spooky

By default, if you mark a directory "non browsable" you cant get a download.
It doesnt mean someone cant get around it.

Some hosts will allow it to be placed below root, and out of touch. Youll need to ask.

Securing asp scripts?
