Aligning the text in navigation buttons - 4/11/2001 13:45:00
Is it possible to have the text in themed navigation buttons on 2 lines instead of 1?Some of my wording for pages is rather long and doesn't fit properly unless I can do this. Any help would be very much appreciated. ------------------ "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -- Albert Einstein.

I wouldn't say that. Here is what I do. Just create a table with a certain number of pixels. You will have to play around with it a bit to get it where you like it, and then insert the nav bar inside.

That will work to get the nav bar on two lines, but there isn't a way to get the text onto two lines within each button. Maybe MS will come up with this in the new version? (doubtful, but we can hope!)Linda ------------------ Ruby Marketing

It can be a real pain at times, but I think MS had the idea to help folks rmember to keep it simple. Short easy to remember names. No, it's not their place, but if you think about it, a lot of the FP features push the author into the direction of the accepted norms.I hope they don't change it. I really hate to visit a site and have to read tons of words just to figure out one or two links.

Hi,I hope they do change it - the people behind FP are much too fond of pushing people to accept their norms - if I want my text on 2 lines I expect to be allowed to do it. Cheers Andy ------------------ Internet Business Solutions S.L. (Spain) Dreamweaver Users Forum

I'm using the new FrontPage XP and can't manage to create the text on 2 lines so we'll have to wait for the next version of FP. When will that be, 6 months, a year? It just gets (or seems to) quicker and quicker between new versions! I'm not knocking the benefits that a newer version brings, just the time frames which seem to be getter closer together and seem to be there to boost the profits of good ole' Bill Gates. There, I finally got that off my chest, phew!------------------ "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -- Albert Einstein.
