Error with subwebs - 2/8/2005 8:25:32
My hosting company (which will remain nameless for now) tripped my FrontPage extensions. No problem, right? Well the main site is back up, but I sell FrontPage templates. Tripping the extensions turned my 350+ subwebs into folders, wipping out the themes and navigation structure of all my subwebs.

Now, when I try to publish a subweb and overwrite the existing files, I get:

An error occured accessing your Windows SharePoint Services site files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's web site. Webmasters - please see the server's application event log for more details.

Now my host is hung up on the "SharePoint Services" line. The templates I am publishing were created in FrontPage 2002. It does not contain anything out of the ordinary. Any ideas what could be triggering this, or more important, how to clear it up?

Are you sure those files still exist? The Sub-webs may need setting up again via SharePoint on the Server
