FarmerT You have a PR of 2, so you're not doing too badly.. I must ask a bit more on Jaybees question: quote:
how are you picking up your links? Crawl or submission. For a search engine to become successful, even if only on a small portion of Google success, you will need to have Spiders crawling the web, yes manual submission works, but you do need to have Spiders out there, crawling the web, and submitting relevant sites to your search engine DB, and keeping it up to date. If you do have these running through the web, can I ask what language they are written in? VB? C++? You must also be careful about the Spiders, they need to be created and deployed very carefully, as they can be mistaken for Viruses and SPAMbots Onto the site itself: Not slow at all, but I concur Daves comments on the design, it's messed up in Firefox. It also looks like you've gone for a Google style page? What might attract users more is if you had a more aesthetically pleasing logo, and not so many ads on the main page, maybe just links to other services provided by yourself? Leave the "Hosting" links etc for the SERPs, people will be more attracted to the clean home page on a search engine rather than just a cluttered page. Just my $0.02 Dan
