Thanks for the link Cooper, I wasn't in the market but it does look pretty interesting. Downloaded, now all I have to do is find time to play with it.

If anyone can install a php/mysql based one, www.cerberusweb.com is the best out there. If you don't need something that detailed (cerberus costs around $250) then I would go with something like www.perldesk.com.

Glad to see an ASP based helpdesk for free!

One of the places I work with uses www.teamatic.com. It is already hosted and free to use, for the basic package(<6 users). I've used it for the past two years extensively and have had good luck with it. I like it because we don't need to host, install, or anything.

We just started using OSTicket. http://www.osticket.com/

It seems to work very well.

I've used UltraApp's Issue Manager briefly in the past.   It's simple, easy, and easily modified.   And it's free.

I'll second that recommendation for Liberum Help Desk.
It's all ASP. You can use either SQL or Access.
0.97.3 is very stable and very well supported through their forums.
Take a crack at the 1.0 Beta if you're an ASP guru. (It's not very well supported)[:@]
We've been using the 0.97.3 for well over a year now with no major problems. And yes the price was a major factor in our decision too!
