If anyone can install a php/mysql based one, www.cerberusweb.com is the best out there. If you don't need something that detailed (cerberus costs around $250) then I would go with something like www.perldesk.com. Glad to see an ASP based helpdesk for free!

One of the places I work with uses www.teamatic.com. It is already hosted and free to use, for the basic package(<6 users). I've used it for the past two years extensively and have had good luck with it. I like it because we don't need to host, install, or anything.

I've used UltraApp's Issue Manager briefly in the past. It's simple, easy, and easily modified. And it's free. Andrew
