Urgent! IT is setting up a new computer for me this ver... - 4/17/2001 16:00:00

And they don't know a lick about FP. Should PWS be installed BEFORE they install FP2000?

They plan on copying my local webs from the old computer to the new. Is it better for me to publish the live versions down to the new computer instead?

I know these topics have been covered before, but like I said, they are doing it right now and I can't find the threads.

I've never had a problem with FP being installed before PWS - I don't think it matters - but that is my experience.

You definitely want to publish the files to the new computer.

MS Techies say yes, PWS should indeed be installed first and running when you install Fp. They say it helps get the extensions installed correctly with little problems.
