OK, here goes. What I'm 'wanting' to do is upload an application for people to use on my site. It is a .exe and the only thing I have been able to do so far is get it so they have to download it. I DO NOT WANT THIS!!!.
The program is to be used only a couple of times by people and the last thing I want to do is for them to download it and sell it on.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction.
I've been working on this all day now and I'm getting frustrated.

Please please please help.........

think about all of the security issues today. now imagine if executable files could be made to automatically run on users computers - wow. what language is your .exe in? can you recreate it with a server side language?

I've seen this before and I think the answer is no, because a program has to be on one of your drives for your OS to run it.

I stand to be corrected though!

OOooo, now we're getting puzzled. The language is English, as to the rest of it, please don't puzzle me. What the application is, is a tool that produces mobile phone unlock codes when they provide certain information about their phone.

Someone has offered to sell me their program in html format but I believe the one I have to be better.

Their program which produces html output will have a back end that's written in ASP, PHP, C or one of the other languages which work on host computers. You can't just run an exe file from a web page.

Did you write this application and if so, what did you use to do it?
