What causes "Pages out of date message." - 4/19/2001 16:42:00
For no apparent reason I get a message when opening a web to the effect -"Some pages in this web are out of date" "Do you want FrontPage to correct this" This does not happen in regular pattern and almosts seems random. Can anyone shed some light on what triggers this message? Bill Thomson

I've seen that message before, but I never did figure out what it was talking about.Maybe you added some files to your web through the Windows Explorer instead of through FrontPage? Or maybe you published for your live site to your local machine?

Pages out of date is a feature in FP.To turn it off: 1. Select Tools/ Options 2. Uncheck "Warn when included components are out of date" 3. Uncheck "Warn when text index is out of date" If you want to keep this live but change the duration: 1. Select Tools/ Options 2. Click the Reports View tab 3. Change the "Older files" duration to suit Cheers
