Marquee "up" and Firefox - 2/23/2005 15:25:50
Hi,
In order for background images in cells to stay where I want with Firefox, I've had to set them to 'scroll'. They work fine in IE as 'fixed', but not with Firefox. The problem is with an 'up' marquee, eg; <marquee behavior="scroll" direction="up", etc...>. In IE the image stays put when 'fixed', but is invisible in Firefox. When set to 'scroll' it's ok in Firefox, but scrolls up in IE. Is there any way to work around this?

Firefox just doesn't like moving images I'm afraid. I've spent most of the day bashing my head against the wall with flash and animated gifs. IE and Opera handle them fine but FF goes nuts.

Your best bet is to head over to the Moz forums and post your problem. There are work arounds for some things.

Btw, your right-click feature is very annoying.

Right-click, then right click again, and hit the enter key. You will see the script no longer works when you do that :)
