Attempting to re-install fp after deleting. I get this error mess:

Failure to read WING.NG3.TTF

The installation stops at that point. I've tried and re-tried. The disc is spotless and error-free. I ran a disk-error utilitiy from fp help on the disc and passed sucessfully...Help please!

what other type has a .ttf extn..?

Thats what I assume too - wingdings? Id still ensure the disk is spotless, fingerprints, anything should be cleaned.

Yeah--font file. Is there a way I can bypass or delete it to get on with the install? I'd hate to have to buy another copy 'till I've exhausted all efforts...I really don't have the extra $ right now...(what's extra $ anyway?[:D])


Oh. Yeah, the disk is squeaky clean, 'CSI' clean!

You could try doing a custom install choosing only the basic FP stuff and not all the rubbish like themes, etc to start with and specify later that all the rest are to be loaded on first use.
Maybe that would get you going.

The fonts are available in your pc fonts folder via control pannel. Maybe the Wingdings TrueType font is damaged? Have a look here

You can probably get a replacement from there.
