westone -> FrontPage 2003 Publishing (2/24/2005 10:43:12)

I have recently up-graded from FrontPage 2000 to 2003. I'm having problems publishing changes to the web site.

The host say the problem is not with them and suggested the following:-

"It sounds like Frontpage is caching the older connection settings - we would advise removing the site from FrontPage - restarting FrontPage and then reattempting the connection - do not save the username and password within FrontPage".

I don't really understand this and thought I might get a faster response from you, and perhaps other things I might also try.

The error message I keep getting when using FrontPage 2003 to pulish is:

1) Web server may not have the FrontPage server extensions installed.

2) The web-server may be temporarily out of service.

3) If you are connecting through a proxy server the settings may be incorrect

4) An error may have occurred in the web server

The host does have FrontPage extensions installed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Westone,
I am having the same issues using FrontPage 02.  How did you finally get it to publish?
Shari
