What the $$#@# is going on? - 4/21/2001 23:01:00
OK gurus...all of a sudden, whenever I trry to save on FP2000 I get a small warning window come up saying "Couldn't Open File". I close the window, press save again and it's fine. I can't figure out what I did differently to cause this. Thanks all. ------------------ www.Signingshotline.com lists EVERY upcoming athlete autograph appearance in the US and Canada

I see that a lot when I'm working with pages that use multiple include pages. The "couldn't open file" means that FP couldn't open the include. It doesn't really have to for you to save your work, however. My guess has been that it's a PWS bug. I'm so used to it, that I don't notice it anymore. It seems to happen consistently after I've tested in a second browser on a local site.

Hi.I was getting that before I downloaded PWS. Like Thomas, though, it's always an include page that doesn't open...and it never hurts anything. Sandy ------------------ www.alleghenyweb.com
