I generally use drop downs to avoid any error the user may make...and, we all know they make a ton! It took me a while to learn that, even though I said "military time" next to the input box, and, placed a hyperlink so they could figure out the conversion...well, lets just say that I received many 2:30 pm answers :) now, they have two dropdowns...damn users!
