EInspector Posts: 26 Joined: 3/8/2004 Status: offline	What is Google doing???? - 3/2/2005 15:32:04 Hi.... just wanted to post because I know many people have had their websites knocked out of Google search results recently. Two weeks ago my site went from #1 and #2 positions for most of my keywords to around the 100th page. It didn't even rank for the site title and came up at the end of the list for url search. I was watching little fluctuations with the listings moving up or down a page now and then, but no significant change. Then, two days ago my site popped right back up to #1 and #2 again! I was thrilled! Then this morning........ gone back to the bottomless pit again. I just checked again, and my site is back up on top again right now! I don't know what is going on, but obviously, Google is not done with whatever updating it started last month. Its interesting to look at the different Google datacenters and see how very different the search results can be in each one. I am putting a link to a datacenter search site here if anyone wants to check it out. Anyone else out there having strange results like this??? http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php

Loads of us have been reporting massive hits on our sites. I suspect they're completely re-indexing.
