Hey guys,
Take a look again at my web site http://www.truelending.com and also the rate results link found here and give any feedback. I will really appreciate it.

What do you mean? I see it. Does that have anything to do with browsers?

Hi Albano

Was in the mortgage business in the UK for many years. National Sales Manager and all that rubbish. I am sure that things are similar in the States when clients come to look for a loan. They are concerned about the debt they are taking on, being ripped off, getting a good deal and making the process as easy as possible.

The site looks good and runs well but is a shame that there appears to be so many choices for the visitor on one page. When you click and complete these boxes for a mortgage quote you are taken through to a page which requires more information. A bit of a put off for me.

Why not let them select the service required and them direct them through to a mortgage page to fill up the details. Do likewise with the other facilities being offered. That way it frees up your opening page to sell, entice your customer to do business with you.

Do people know what each section within the 'mortgage rates' area means? eg 'select points'.

Hope this is of some help.

Ian

The reason why I have 5 boxex on the front page is because I want all the process to take only 2 steps, and because I filter lenders that will receive this lead based on their selection. The database query takes place on the second page, based on first page query string. After that on the third page the lead will be inserted into the database and also emailed to the lenders and the administrator(me). If I add one more page just so the home page is not that crowded, I'm afraid the user will loose interest because of to many steps. Thanks for the review though,
Albano

I understand your fear of people losing interest in your site because of going through to many pages, especially on a slow connection. However, when I go to your site I see so many different options my eyes don't know where to look first.

Also, download a copy of Mozilla Firefox and you will notice that 'Mortgage Loans' seems to be cloaking itself today.

i think it might be this
#navlist li a#current  {

     color : #336699;
     background : ;
     border-bottom : 1px solid #f5f5f5;

}

try defining the background colour and it should work

Hi Albano

Understand your process a bit better now. What I was trying to say was to process it all the data on the second page. I quite agree that adding another page would be a waste.

It is your site and I only gave you my opinion. In the end YOU make the decisions.

Josh has the same thought on your first page as I do.

Can you see it doing the same thing now? Does the "mortgage loan" link cloaks again with Mozilla?

Hiya

I think the information you have on there is useful but there is too much. I just don't know where to start. Why not near the end of the sentence "What are you waiting for ?" have links to Search mortgage rates and Get a mortgage in your area. It will give the users a direction to go in and clear up your site a bit more.
