The old memory is on two cards (or whatever you call them) with each one having 64MB on it. How can I tell if it will be compatible with my working computer. Can something be damaged if I put them in and they are incompatible? Bob B.

Newer motherboards (K7, K8, P4) use DDR RAM, P-III and K6 generation used SDRAM... big difference. But there are some mobo's that use SDRAM with newer processors, etc. You'll need to find out what each motherboard will accept, and how much. Google should be able to help out for the most part. My guess is that you have a couple sticks of SDRAM or older, since I don't think I've ever seen 64MB DDR before... :) _____________________________ If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
