Adding memory - 3/5/2005 12:57:27
I have taken an old Compaq computer out of service and would like to move the memory to another computer that I have. The old memory is on two cards (or whatever you call them) with each one having 64MB on it. How can I tell if it will be compatible with my working computer. Can something be damaged if I put them in and they are incompatible? Bob B.

Besides looking to see if they physically fit you could go to www.crucial.com and see what types of memory are compatible with each machine. It will give you an idea if they _could_ be used.
