WebPosition, before publishing - 4/25/2001 18:46:00
I just got the trial of WebPosition, to look at a web that is not published. It's on my hard drive, and I can't get the page critic to look at it.What should I enter as the url and page? I can only get a "not valid domain" message. I've tried the plain c:\ location and also the location shown in a browser's address bar when I look at the site as published to my hard drive. Any suggestions? Thanks,

I've tried both the saved and the published (wwwroot) versions on my hard drive without luck. Their help clearly says you can use the program for files on your hard drive, but nothing has been accepted so far.-Ken

I think you'll need to use a HTTP address - if the site is in the WWWROOT directory try http://127.0.0.1/sitename------------------
