Icommu seal - is it worth it? - 3/8/2005 15:52:23
Hi,
I've come across Icommu.com(Internet Community Union). The whole idea looks great and the seals are much cheaper and avaliable for smaller sites(opposite of BBB). They give lots of benefits: 20 site reviews, advertising etc. Just wanted to ask if any one of you has their seal? Do you think it's worth to have such seal on your site?

Never heard of them. Having (or not having) their seal would not be a factor in my decision whether or not to do business with you.
I look for things like Terms of Service, Policies, brick and mortar addresses, a clearly organized and navigable site (not necessarily a "fancy" one), and the time you take to respond to questions about your product or service.
