I need help with resolution problems too. I have been reading answers to other osts but I still don't understand. My website looks different in some peoples computers. I am not sure why but I think it might have something to do with resolution. I don't understand the % thing vs. pixels. I use Frontpage 2003. My website is www.riverfrontstables.com. Other posts I have posted people were confused on what was jumbled. The word art I have not had any problems with, it is pics staying where they are supposed to and the text that goes with them staying where it is supposed to be. An example if going on to the trainers page. There is two trainers there with each having a little bio of themselves. On pc's that are having problems the text run into each other. You can't tell when on stops and the other begins. I think I need my hand held on this. lol Thanks for the help!

Basically you need to give your page some kind of structure.

The easiest way to get started is to lay the page out in a table... then insert things where they need to go.

You would use the width attribute in the table to specify either a pixel width, or a % width.

The pixel width is fixed...so if you set it to be 700 px wide, a 640 x 480 screen would have to scroll, an 800 x 600 screen would probably see it just fine, and anything larger would have "dead space"

BUT, everything would be in it's place because it's all held by the table, which is 700 px wide.

Now, if you use a % for your table width, it will automatically expand or contract to fit the window (100% would take up the whole thing, for example)

The only thing you have to watch for with tables is that sum of the widths of each column must total the overall width of the table...

Hope that helps
