Video? - 5/2/2001 21:48:00
Okay, I'm in the p[rocess of building a site for a client. he's got a video production business and wants to put clips on the site. The easiest way I can see is to just upload Quicktime clips and place links on the page and let the surfer's browser do the rest. it seems to work at other sites. And this is all he wants..for folks to see his video work. Thing is, I realize that not everyone is that web saavy/smart about downloading video. I want to be able to make the video process as idiot proof as possible. Secondly, what about a web cam? I'd like to offer a web cam shot of his studio, conference room, etc. How do you go about setting up a web cam? Any suggestions on cameras? Software? Techniques? ------------------ Toonfully, Mark georgetoon@yahoo.com

Thanks, Thomas. The article's were very helpful! My hunch was right (as an easy start)...I'll just upload quicktime files and direct folks where to get the player, if needed.
