Simple animated GIF - 3/21/2005 20:54:04
I would like to do a simple animated button. All I want to do is have it constantly flash back and forth between two pictures, such as a lit lightbulb and a not lit one. I have searched and searched for very general information about animated gifs, but I can't seem to find how to create it, and then how to add it to my website. Does anyone know where I would find instructions for a beginner?
Thank you.

Maybe I should add that I have Paint, Photoshop Elements, and Publisher. If I need to get a specific program, I would like suggestions for a fairly simple one to use. And then, as I said, I need to know how to get it on my Frontpage website.
Thank you again!

I use either Animationshop 3 (JASC) or Macromedias Fireworks for gifs/animations.
Animationshop 3 being seriously easy and you can also download working trial version for gratis. :)

Animation is easy, just create the two images you want, then place both frames inside the same animation, tweak the timing so you are happy with it and save it as a gif file.

If you require more detailed help lemme know, but I only work with the programs I mentioned above.
