Yep - The Registry entry that FP uses for Ports has either been deleted or become corrupt. Detect & Repair on FP should solve it

methinks it's a Front Page Server Extensions installation error on the site.

FP stores the Port information in the Registry, and when you go to publish the web, it will read the registry. Detect & Repair or Re-install FP should solve the problem

well, I just repaired FP, again, and nothing has changed. I can, however, publish this site to a different host. I just cannot publish it to the host I need to publish it to.

They are still investigating it. it's been three days.
