anyone know how to set unique folder and file permissions through frontpage? can it be done at all?

Isn't that for Unix only. I thought Windoze would let you but then it never makes the changes. I thought this was a job for CPanel?

I guess it depends on the server setup - our windows box will do it, but as you suggest, the control panel for your web (which most hosts provide these days) would be the best option outside Frontpage
