Folder list - 4/1/2005 22:50:55   
opening web page I was working on - selecting index does give me the index page yet the folder & nav lists are gone (blank)-as well as a left field of nav links on index page-preview of the page shows the webpage properly with the links-how can I re gain tb folder & nav lists:)

File>Open Site.

If you just File>Open the index page and it's not already designated by FP as a web site then all you'll get is the specific page you opened.

In explorer a folder is designated as a web site if the icon is a folder with a globe on it.

Actually, after checking-when I select to open file-select the web page it will only open a selected file not the entire web page-???

I'm sorry you've lost me completely now.

Oh hang on. Missing nav lists and left fields.

Shared Borders. You've turned you shared borders off somehow so it's only showing you the content of the page.

Format>Shared Borders make sure the boxes for the borders you want are ticked and select apply to all pages
