Mouse Images... - 4/3/2005 11:14:08
I am trying to put an image with the mouse on a website. I inserted the html, but the image is at the bottom of the page, not moving with the mouse. Just wondering if someone could check out my html and see what I'm doing wrong? The site is www.ShaneClanton.com .

Thanks
Aaron

It does move (annoyingly so) with my mouse movements although quite a bit lower..try moving your mouse at the very top of your screen and make sure your browser enables scripint.

The mouse image does work with IE, but I was on Firefox earlier, and it didn't, it was just stuck at the bottom left. Just wondering if anyone knows how to raise it up to the mouse, and if anyone knows what needs to be changed to make the image work correctly on Firefox? Thanks in Advance.

part of your problem is your code..go to html view..notice that when your head section ends </head> you begin the div's and your content but dont open a <body> tag until the end!! all of that should go between the <body> amd </body> tags. also, move the <img for pic1 up higher. I have some doubts aobut the javascript i.e. lacking ; at end of statements and undefined event y

I would suggest going to dynamicdrive and pick up a more recent script.:) If you backtrack from the credits you'll find that this script was created before FF (not that it should matter if it's good script:) and frankly just barely works in IE (at least the sample I tracked to).

I'm glad it doesn't work in Firefox. Please don't fix it.
