Hi All,
I'm developing an ASP app that uses XML data grabbed from an Exchange server. Any one had any experience regarding performance hits when grabbing specifically Exchange data this way?
I'm aware of WebDAV and ADO/CDO solutions but the Exchange server may be going away in the not-so-distant future and I want to be as generic in my data collection as possible for future compatibility.
I've already got my XML code grabbing what I need I'm just somewhat concerned about what seems to be a full-time data stream. All stuff will be behind a firewall and doesn't contain any sensitive data to begin with so I'm not worried 'bout anyone getting it, just what performance issues the Exchange server or my app may experience.
I'll be using primarily the calendar data if that's relevant but before I start pulling a few hundred users worth of appointments across the data stream[;)], I'm curious as if anyone has any insights.
