Hi everybody
I was wondering if anyone can explain to me if its possible to stablish links to uncertain paths. I need to link files to documents that in the future may be on a cd rom unit or another hd letter. Is it possible to do it?
Please forgive me if its a silly question but i am new in web design and besides english isnt my native tongue since i am from argentina.

Newbie2005,
You can, but why would you want to? Links won't call-up without path statements being stated in equivocal terms. Also, pointing to a CD Drive/Drive letter "X" will only work in local mode - web site files must point to paths established on WWW servers, either your own or another host.
BTW, your English is 100% better than my Portugese.

I know what you mean but let me explain what i intend to do
I have ahugue database of information concerning to my job and someone suggested creating a web folder. The folder must be on a cd rom, casue the database (besides of being on the web) will be distributed in cds.
Thats why i need to know how to link the paths to a cd rom. To be more acquarate, all teh files will resdie on a cd, but my cd letter is F perhaps in your computer, your cd letter will be D, if you know what i mean
